Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Ishan Kishan scored an unbeaten 94 runs off 48 balls at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on May 23, Friday to power SRH to a mammoth 231 runs for six wickets.
Kishan flexed his muscles at the Ekana stadium as he hit seven fours and five sixes and scored at a strike rate of nearly 200. He continued the good job after the platform was laid out by the SRH openers.
Abhishek Sharma (34 runs off 17 balls) and Travis Head (17 runs off 10 balls) added 54 runs inside the first four overs. Knocks from Heinrich Klaasen (24 runs off 13 balls) and Aniket Verma (26 runs off 9 balls) also played its part in helping SRH post a massive total.
Kishan's Strokeplay Highlight Of SRH's Innings
However, the highlight of SRH's innings was how Ishan Kishan scored his runs. He waited for the right moments and the matchups worked in his favour. He took a toll on the RCB spinners hitting them for boundaries.
RCB used as many as six bowlers. Barring Yash Dayal, who bowled the final over, every other bowler picked up a wicket each. Lungi Ngidi was the most expensive of all the bowlers picking up a wicket for 51 runs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar went for 45 runs off his four overs, Suyash Sharma went for 43 off his four overs. Even Krunal Pandya had an expensive game by his standards as he went for 38 runs off his four overs. Romario Shepherd took two wickets as he went for 14 off his two overs.

RCB Have A Tough Task Chasing 232 To Win
RCB have a massive chase on their hands in Lucknow as they are chasing 232 runs to win. Lucknow where 200 was scored just once in the last 10 innings before the LSG vs GT game has now seen three 200-plus totals on the trot. RCB have already qualified for the playoffs. However, a win against SRH will take them closer to a top two finish.
