Mohammed Shami’s estranged wife, Hasin Jahan, has landed herself in massive trouble after she has been booked on attempt to murder charges in West Bengal’s Birbhum district.
Hasin Jahan’s daughter, Arshi Jahan, has also been booked under the same charges after her neighbour Dalia Khatun from Suri town, lodged the complaint. According to a report by Free Press Journal, the mother and the daughter has been booked under BNS sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109, 351(3) and 3(5).
A video of Hasin Jahan and her daughter Arshi has been doing the rounds on social media. It went viral immediately after it was shared. In the video, the mother and the daughter can be seen threatening Dalia Khatun after Hasin Jahan started construction on a disputed plot in Ward Number 5 of Suri town in Birbhum district.

The matter escalated rapidly with the two of them threatening their neighbour in local language, which was recorded as well. Apparently, Hasin Jahan was overseeing the construction on the disputed land, which is allegedly in the name of her daughter Arshi. The mother-daughter duo can be seen threatening Dalia Khatun in the video after she objected to the construction. Her obstruction started a heated argument with Jahan and Dalia throwing hands at each other as well.
The West Bengal Police is yet to step into action. However, if the charges are proved, it will be massive trouble for Hasin Jahan, who is already having a lot to deal with in recent times. Time and again, she has been criticised for giving troubles to Indian pacer Mohammed Shami.
Calcutta High Court Orders Shami To Pay Alimony To Jahan And Her Daughter
Jahan is already giving a lot of trouble to the Indian pacer Mohammed Shami over their strenuous marriage. Given Shami’s success as a cricketer, Jahan asked a monthly expense of 10 lakhs as alimony for the maintenance of herself and her daughter. Meanwhile, after a hearing, the Calcutta High Court has asked Shami to pay a monthly alimony of 4 crores, 1.5 lakhs to her and 2.5 lakhs for their daughter.
The court had earlier said that a monthly expense of Rs 50000 for Hasin Jahan and Rs 80000 for her daughter would be too less to match the standard of living they were used to with Shami’s success as a cricketer.
